At Up Before Sunrise, our educational philosophy centers on the child. Our approach is based on the concept of learning to learn. We provide a one-on-one learning environment. We are committed to helping your child develop a positive self-concept and begin to develop the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills necessary for success in the school environment.

We believe that our safe, clean and stimulating learning rooms create a healthy learning environment. We provide children with a warm and nurturing atmosphere that encourages and supports a child's social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development. Up Before Sunrise believes learning happens through play as well as structured and hands-on experiences.

Parents are the most significant adults in a child's life. We strive to create mutual respect between parents and providers - a partnership for the benefit of the child. We encourage daily communication between parents and providers, and will provide a daily report on your child's progress.

We have set up a safe, warm and nurturing environment for children to learn in. They are able to explore and learn in our learning rooms that are stimulating and fun. The children learn quickly in our small and intimate environment. Our in-home facility is located in a quiet and safe subdivision community.

Our Environment Includes:

Learning Room - Where most of the classes are held This room helps stimulate the children during class time. They also utilize the computer to play educational games as well as explore music.

2 Play Rooms - Where they are free to explore and play. They are encouraged to use their imagination and creativity.

Media Room - Where we watch educational videos, engage in educational/physical games on the Wii and learn about technology.

Outdoor Play Area - Where they are free to explore and learn about the world around them. This is a large fenced in outdoor area that has a Swing Set, Sandbox, Grassy Open Area and Hard Top Area.

Community Features - Quiet and safe new neighborhood with sidewalks throughout for daily walks
